Tree Planting

Our school was one of only two chosen to plant trees by Sunderland City Council in conjunction with Environment week. We were given 50 native species to plant around our school. Years 2 and 3 had a fantastic day, and even used their P.E time to plant more trees. It was great exercise!

It was a very hot sunny day.

We did some role play about trees and their effect on the environment.
